Throughout the last 14 years, since the beginning of his professional career, Till Küster has been working on the questions and tasks related to the protection of human rights, the support of activists, civil society organizations and initiatives in the field of aid, relief and development. He has done so in different countries and regions, such as Haiti, Philippines, Nepal, Sahel and Western Africa, during the last years with a main focus on the so-called Middle East, especially in Syria and Lebanon. 13 months ago, Till Küster became a member of medico´s executive board as Head of the Cooperations Department. In doing this, his goal is to identify strategic topics and partnerships for the organization that combine the implementation of activities with a political understanding of how to support transformative developments and resistance in neglected contexts.
